Klacksun is the Clackmannanshire Service Users Network. The voice of people who use mental health services.

We are an organisation whose objective is to empower mental health service users through involvement in all aspects of their care.

This website is being developed in conjunction with people who have experienced mental health issues and through it we hope to:

provide you with information about statutory and voluntary mental health services in Clackmannanshire and Forth Valley;

keep you up to date with developments in mental health through our news pages and newsletters;

give you an opportunity to express your views, confidentially, on current issues;

offer a forum where you can exchange information and views with others who may have similar experiences of mental health issues and services;

provide links to other websites and resources related to mental health

This is YOUR website. If you think there is something which could feature in the website, let us know. Contact us...

Put Forward Your Views

One of our main reasons for developing the website is to allow the widest cross section of people access to air their views and put forward suggestions for improvements to services.

Are you interested in having your say, putting Your Views across?   We would love to hear from you.

Get Involved

There are plenty of opportunities for people to get involved in a way they feel comfortable.

A reference group meets on a monthly basis to discuss issues raised by people who use mental health services in Clackmannanshire and to work out the best ways to raise these issues. However, other people are also involved in meetings and groups with statutory and voluntary services, developing ways to ensure that information for people who use mental health services is readily accessible.
