CategoriesFilesWe have a range of mental health related books, cd's, dvd's and videos (yes videos!!!). To borrow them all you need to do is come in and sign for them. Alongside each title we have included a summary provided by Mind but we would value your views of the books you have read (not just from the Klacksun list. To do so, either post something on the Forum or pop-in to the office.
You can read or download copies of our latest newsletters which are distributed to Klacksun members by post and around all services within Clackmannanshire and Forth Valley.
Members plan, write, produce and distribute the newsletter. It is a good opportunity to find out what's going on.
If you would like to get involved or if you have any ideas about what the newsletters should contain get in touch with the Editorial Committee by clicking here. In addition to our newsletters we write short bulletins on topics of interest to us. This usually happens after an issue has been raised and investigated or if we have had someone give a talk or presentation on a particular subject. Choose a topic which interests you.
We meet as a group at least once a month, usually on the the last Wednesday of the month at 10.30am. It is quite a relaxed meeting and is a time for us to listen to visiting speakers, talk about what has been happening with the different projects we are involved with and to discuss issues.
We always keep notes of the meeting to remind us what we have agreed. You will find copies of the notes of the last few meetings here. Klacksun members meet with the managers responsible for mental health services in Clackmannanshire on a regular basis. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss developments in services and to ensure that the service user voice is heard.
Click here to have a look at the standareds we have been working on.
Notes are kept of the meeting and you can get copies of the last few here.
